1 Thessalonians 4:1-8

PLEASE GOD

 

It is God’s will that you be sanctified:

 

  • Distance yourself from sexual immorality.

 

  • Control your own body to honor God.

 

  • Do not be controlled by your cravings.

 

  • Do not use others—the Lord is an avenger.

 

If you have a problem with this, your problem is with God.

 

 

GLORIFY GOD

 

19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.  1 Corinthians 6:19-20

 

Focus on the gospel à gratitude for the work of Christ à desire to glorify God
