THE STORY

(Acts 3:1-4:31)

 

• Peter and John go to the temple
• God gives an opportunity
• Peter proclaims the gospel
• Peter and John are arrested
• Many believed the gospel
• Peter and John are questioned
• Peter proclaims the gospel again!
• Peter and John are released and tell the church
• God is praised!
• The church prays for boldness
• The church continues to boldly speak the Word of God

 

 

TRUTH FOR US

(1 Peter 4:12-19)

 

• Suffering for the sake of the gospel is worth it.
• Suffering for the sake of the gospel is part of God’s will for every Christian.  (2 Timothy 3:12)

 

 

ACTION FOR US

 

• Go intentionally.
• See and take God-given opportunities.
• Stand in Spirit-empowered boldness no matter what.
• Ask God for more boldness.
• Repeat until death or Christ’s return.
