•    Lazarus: eternal blessing
•    Rich man: eternal judgment

The begging of the rich man  (verses 24-31)
•    A drop of water
•    A request for his family to be warned

God’s Response
•    Compassion for the poor
•    Condemnation for those who neglect the poor

Eternal Consequence
For those who indulge themselves and neglect the poor…
•    Earth is their heaven
•    Eternity will be their hell

•    Live out hollow religion
•    Live out the evidence of true faith
