PAUL’S ANGUISH

(verses 1-5)

 

• Paul had great sorrow for people he loved who were lost.

 

• Paul would have sacrificed anything to see them saved.

 

• The people Paul was in anguish over were ethnic Jews who had rejected Christ.

• Adoption
• Glory
• Covenants
• Law
• Worship
• Promises
• Patriarchs
• Christ

 

GOD NEVER FAILS

(verses 6-13)

 

• The true people of God are not identified by flesh, but by God.

 

• God chose Isaac.

 

• God chose Jacob.

Why?

• God’s purpose of election
• NOT because of works
• BECAUSE of Him who calls

What will you sacrifice?

 

Will you trust God to be God?
