JUDGMENT

(2:1-11)

 

• We love to judge.

 

REALITY: We are no better than those we judge.

 

 

• We tend to take God’s kindness for granted.

 

REALITY: God takes sin very seriously.

 

 

• We like to think we’re good enough.

 

REALITY: God is judge.

 

 

THE LAW

(2:12-16)

 

• Sin without the law à perish without the law.

 

 

• Sin under the law à be judged by the law.

 

 

• Without rightly seeing God’s judgment, we cannot see the glory of the gospel.
