Romans 8:31-39

GOD’S WORK FOR US

(verses 31-34)

 

• What shall we say to these things?  God is for us!

 

• Who can be against us?  No one!

 

• Will He graciously give us all things?  Yes!  He gave His son.

 

• Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect?  No one!  God justifies.

 

• Who is to condemn?  No one!
  • Jesus died
  • Jesus was raised
  • Jesus is interceding for us

 

 

GOD’S LOVE FOR US

(verses 35-39)

 

• Who will separate us from the love of Christ?
  • We will face difficulty.
  • We will be persecuted.

 

• In Christ we are “super-conquerors” in all these things.

 

• Nothing…
  • Not anything in this life
  • Not anything in the spiritual realm
  • Not anything in time
  • Not anything in space
  • Not anything else in all creation

 

…can separate us from the love of God in Christ.
