GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS

(3:1-8)

 

Objection #1: “Is there any advantage in being a Jew?”

Response: “Yes! God spoke to you!”

 

 

Objection #2: “Does the unfaithfulness of God’s people mean God is unfaithful?”

Response: “No! God’s faithfulness includes right judgment.”

 

 

Objection #3: “If my sin ends up making God look good, how can He judge me for that?”

Response: “Seriously!? If you think that way you prove you deserve condemnation!”

 

 

NO ONE IS RIGHTEOUS

(3:9-20)

 

• EVERYONE is under sin.

 

 

• God’s standard has been set.

 

 

• All will be held accountable to God.

 

 

• No one will be made right before God by works.
